Meet Anna - Yoga
Anna is a certified Yoga and Pregnancy Yoga Teacher, Reiki, and Spring Forest Qigong Practitioner. Passionate about holistic living and movement, she believes yoga transformed her life. From her first step on the mat, it became her calling. Anna creates inclusive, inspiring classes for all levels, guiding students with care and a deep love for yoga’s life-changing potential.
Meet Dai - Yoga
Dai has been teaching yoga for 15 years. She likes to make sure that her classes are fun, happy and peaceful places to practice. She teaches lots of children’s yoga which keep her giggly! She has a qualification in laughter yoga to add to the giggles. She teaches all levels and especially loves introducing the yoga way of life to beginners.
Meet Ewelina - Pilates
I specialise in mat Pilates, Zumba, Aqua, and other fitness classes. Fitness is my passion, and I love helping people reach their goals. After battling chronic back pain and failed treatments, Pilates changed my life. It relieved my pain, and inspired me to turn my passion into a career. Now, I’m doing what I love!
Meet Pete - Nordic Walking
I am Pete Davey, Nordic Walking and Fitness training instructor. I have instructed Nordic Walking for Enfield Council for about 11 years and currently instruct in Grovelands Park on Mondays at 10am. Nordic Walking is an enjoyable activity for fitness and wellbeing.
Meet George - Swimming
My name is George. I have been swimming ever since I was 6 months old, progressing to competitively swimming at 9. Making it all the way to the national stage. Over the last 5 years I’ve transitioned my swimming career into helping develop the skills of others, old or young.
Meet Martin - Ballroom & Latin Dance
Martin is a qualified ISTD Ballroom and Latin teacher who also teaches Sequence and Argentine Tango. He has competed in medallist competitions and had wins at Blackpool. Also a previous winner (or holder) of the prestigious Phyllis Haylor scholarship. Fun fact: Martin has previously been a policeman, TV DIY presenter and childminder.
Meet Wendy - Badminton, Dance, Stretch & Mobilise and Tap
I’m an ex professional dancer and have been working at Active Enfield for past 5 years. Our tap is for Beginners and Improvers in which we now do ‘Tapathons’ for Children in Need and Charities. I trained in Birmingham as a dancer before going professional abroad and in London. My hobbies include all fitness and running.
